is - yes. I somehow forgot after all these series-split that I actually 
added the support for a scattered packets too - on an account a single

Agree. Took the approach of "keep registers access as few as possible" 
as opposed to "encapsulate the specific functionality resisters 
configuration". The first one is quicker to write but I agree that the 
second approach is indeed better. I'll rewrite this section.
