[dpdk-users] uio_generic fails

	Hi all,

I'm trying to use OVS-DPDK in a VM and I'm hitting a very
weird issue on one of the box. After much experimentation, I'm
simplified the testcase (got rid of the VM part).

	Hardware (two identical servers) :
	o CPU : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v3 @ 2.30GHz (Haswell dual socket)
	o NIC : Intel X710-DA2 for 10GbE SFP+ (dual SFP+ port with DAC cables)

	Software :
	o OVS trunk
	o DPDK 16.04
	o kernel 3.16.7
	o X710 firmware : 5.02

On one box, I can run OVS with the kernel driver, with DPDK +
vfio-pci and with DPDK with uio_pci_generic.
On the other box, I can run OVS with the kernel driver, with
DPDK + vfio-pci, but when I run it with DPDK with uio_pci_generic
I get an error (log below). Well, it used to work initially, and then
after some VM experiments it started to fail. I swapped the NIC, and
it still fail, so I know the NIC is good.
What is puzzling to me is that on box is good, and the other
is not.

	Any idea ?

	Thanks in advance !

	Jean
