Validate mailbox communication between PF and VF

Hi team ,
        We are using Xilinx T1 card , so for these default 1 PF(physical
function) is present so with that we have created 1 VF . So just for
Validation purpose we want to make communication between VF and PF .

       As of now we are running pktgen to send and receive dummy
packets among them , but it is not happening . Even Though i flashed the
loopback bitfile in T1 card .

     So how we can proceed on these , Can you please help on same ?
