CI Status

AWS Lab

* No update

UNH-IOL Community Lab
-----------------------------------------------
* AI Code Review Updates
** UNH submitted a patch to adjust the return values from the scripts,
to only issue a warning or failure, pending the outcome of the review:

** May need to adjust the model via the CLI command line, to move it
forward.  Aaron will raise this with the techboard and confirm the
model.

* Infra Issues
** Intel e810 testing and mellanox-CX5 testing have been offline for
11 days and now back online
** Performance tests are varying in new DTS for intel 40G, possibly a
missing build argument, Andrew is looking into this.  This could be
coming from TRex as well (Patrick’s wisdom).  Can also reach out to
Bruce to check if there are different build flags that should be used.

* ABI Testing Updates
** UNH has begun the process of migrating ABI testing to migrate to
libabigail 2.9, as requested by Thomas and Stephen.

* New-DTS migration
** Mellanox ConnectX5 performance test to be turned on and reporting soon
** Intel 100G will be brought online after the 26.07 release, because
it needs a bug fix applied in the DTS code.
** Zlib-compression testing to be added to new DTS 26.11

* Minimum Kernel Testing
** Minimum kernel testing is back online using kernel 5.4 on Debian 12.1

* AMD Unit Tests
** Unit testing on the AMD Genoa architecture is deployed
** There are unit test failures with AMD Milan: distributor_autotest,
Some EAL test cases fail on LTS builds
** UNH folks will add to bugzilla and tag Patrick and vipin.varghese at amd.com
** Need to confirm if this is both GCC and Clang

* Continued container infrastructure updates
** RHEL10 and OpenSUSE Leap 16 have been enabled, work is continuing
for other distros
** OpenSUSE Leap 15 was removed, because it’s EOL.
** Partially paused until libabigail 2.9 migration is complete

Intel Lab

Github Actions

* May look into support for FreeBSD support.

Loongson Lab
-----------------------------------------------
* The lab responded and made some updates to repair issues, as of June
22.  They have requested things be re-enabled and will be providing
results as Patchwork’s Contexts: loongson-compile-loongarch-abi2 and
loongson-unit-loongarch-abi2
* Thomas had asked for confirmation of the sender email, to turn things back on.

DTS Improvements & Test Development

* The team has submitted patches / updates as requested.
* There are a couple of bug fixes that the team has also requested be
included in the 26.07 release, as things have been caught migrating
away from oldDTS in the lab.

Any other business
===============================================
* AI Agents to facilitate testing
** AMD team has developed a series of AI agents that helps with DPDK
CI testing, such as polling patchworks, categorizing the patches (what
they touched), tweak server performance settings, run testing,
summarizing testing outcomes, etc.
** They are interested in providing some access to the agents to the
lab, making the definitions available to the lab.
** The first phase could use the patch categorizing scripts, to select
the set of meson tests that are relevant for the patch.  This would be
running in addition to existing testing.
** UNH can support running some of these AI driven tests in the lab,
but we need to ensure it is deployed using separate systems or other
guardrails to prevent it from impacting the existing CI testing.  If
the AI system can make changes to the base system (BIOS or OS), then
it may require dedicated servers for that purpose.  Otherwise, there
are no blocks to prevent these types of activities within the lab.
