[dpdk-dev] Configure hugepages on VMWare ESXi

 Hello 

I try to test dpdk. But I have some problems with configuration.
I have blade Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5667 3.07GHz 64 GB RAM with VMWare ESXi 5.5
installed on it. Virtual machine Ubuntu 12.04 server amd 64. And I try to configure 
hugepages with 1GB size. In documentation wrote:

-         The hugepage sizes that a CPU supports can be determined from the CPU flags. If  pse
       exists, 2M hugepages are supported; if  pdpe1gb exists, 1G hugepages are supported.
-         For 64-bit applications, it is recommended to use 1 GB hugepages if the platform
       supports them.

When linux is installed though VMWare,  pdpe1gb  flag doesn't exist, when installed directly
to blade this flag exist. Also i tried on debian 7.3 amd 64.

Anyone else met with a similar problem?
