Why did you do this? (adding 8 to RTE_RAWDEV_NAME_MAX_LEN)?
Just add a patch to increase the value of RTE_RAWDEV_NAME_MAX_LEN.

Just a trivial comment - you want all your logs, whether INFO, ERROR etc 
to be appended with function name? Its your choice, but ideally you 
should separate.
