Hi,

FYI, your patch has been queued to stable release 24.11.9

Note it hasn't been pushed to http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk-stable yet.
It will be pushed if I get no objections before 11/07/26. So please
shout if anyone has objections.

Also note that after the patch there's a diff of the upstream commit vs the
patch applied to the branch. This will indicate if there was any rebasing
needed to apply to the stable branch. If there were code changes for rebasing
(ie: not only metadata diffs), please double check that the rebase was
correctly done.

Queued patches are on a temporary branch at:
https://github.com/bluca/dpdk-stable

This queued commit can be viewed at:
https://github.com/bluca/dpdk-stable/commit/08e202ae4e6f6bed6bc53d65ff7a14870a433268

Thanks.

Luca Boccassi

Subject: [PATCH] interrupts: fix event array copy in duplicated instance

[ upstream commit 2941c9819b6da261c6a402d401818da0c396f56d ]

A duplicated interrupt handle is allocated with the default event array
size, but the source may have been grown with rte_intr_event_list_update()
when the device has more vectors than the default. The duplicate then
reports the default nb_intr and its arrays are too small for the source
contents.

Grow the duplicate to the size of the source before copying.

Besides, the event FD and epoll event arrays are copied using the number
of entries as a byte count, so only a fraction of the entries make it
into the duplicate.

Copy the arrays by element size.
