## Patch 3/4: test/ethdev: add flow conversion tests

### Errors

None.

### Warnings

None.

### Info

The test hardcodes `LAST_ITEM_TYPE` and `LAST_ACTION_TYPE` to specific enum values
(`RTE_FLOW_ITEM_TYPE_COMPARE` and `RTE_FLOW_ACTION_TYPE_JUMP_TO_TABLE_INDEX`).
The comment at lines 14-18 acknowledges this fragility.
This is acceptable for the current patch but is a maintenance burden:
each time a new item or action type is added,
this test will need updating or it will miss the new type in the completeness check.

Consider whether the enum definitions could export a `_MAX` sentinel value,
or whether the test could be generated or use a different mechanism to discover the range.
This is a design limitation, not a defect in this patch.

## Patch 4/4: ethdev: add flow item structure size query

### Errors

None.

### Warnings

**Missing `__rte_experimental` tag:**
The new `RTE_FLOW_CONV_OP_ITEM_SIZE` enum value is part of the public API
(`enum rte_flow_conv_op` is in an installed header)
and adds a new conversion operation that applications can call.
New API additions must be marked as experimental.

However, `enum` values cannot carry `__rte_experimental` themselves.
The guidance for experimental enum additions is to document them as experimental
in the release notes and in the API documentation (Doxygen comment),
and to mark any new *functions* that expose the enum as experimental.
In this case, `rte_flow_conv()` already exists and is stable,
so the enum addition is the experimental part.

The release notes update in `doc/guides/rel_notes/release_26_11.rst` (lines 116-121)
documents the new operation but does not label it as experimental.
The Doxygen comment for `RTE_FLOW_CONV_OP_ITEM_SIZE` (lines 4429-4445 in `rte_flow.h`)
also does not mention that this operation is experimental.

**Suggested fix:**
Add a note in both the release notes and the Doxygen comment
stating that `RTE_FLOW_CONV_OP_ITEM_SIZE` is experimental.
For example, in the Doxygen comment:
```c
/**
 * Retrieve the fixed size of an item specification structure.
 *
 * @warning
 * @b EXPERIMENTAL: this conversion operation may change without prior notice.
 *
 * Writes the size of the item specification structure to @p dst,
 * ...
 */
```

And in the release notes, clarify that the new operation is experimental:
```rst
Added ``RTE_FLOW_CONV_OP_ITEM_DEFAULT_MASK_PTR`` (experimental) and
``RTE_FLOW_CONV_OP_ITEM_SIZE`` (experimental) conversion operations
```

## Summary

Patches 1/4 and 2/4 fix genuine bugs where descriptor table entries were missing,
causing NULL pointer dereference or incorrect behavior in conversion operations.
The fixes are correct and add the missing entries with appropriate `MK_FLOW_ITEM`
and `MK_FLOW_ACTION` macros.

Patch 3/4 adds comprehensive unit test coverage for `rte_flow_conv()`,
which had none before. The test structure is sound and uses the `TEST_ASSERT` macros
and `unit_test_suite_runner` infrastructure as required by the guidelines.
The hardcoded max type values are a known limitation documented in the code.

Patch 4/4 adds a new conversion operation to query item structure sizes.
The implementation is correct and the test coverage is thorough.
The issue is that the new API is not marked or documented as experimental.
