reorder library and thread safety

Hello,

I have a question about the reorder library

The documentation indicates:
"NOTE: Currently the reorder buffer is not thread safe so the same thread
is responsible for inserting and draining mbufs."

Is it planned to make a thread safe version?
Has work already been done on this subject?
